NEC launches the LifeTouch, a “cloud communicator” running Android OS. We are not sure what does NEC exactly mean for cloud communicator, but as the press release suggests, it is probably designed for enterprise and business use. Consumers can also use it for e-book reading, entertainment, web surfing as well.
Other than the new button design and layout, the LifeTouch, like reported before, has a 7-inch capacitive touchscreen, a 3 Megapixel camera, built-in Bluetooth, GPS and WiFi and a SD card slot. The device runs Android 2.1 and sports an ARM Cortex A8 processor.
