Plextor PX-NAS4 4-bay NAS

Optical storage maker Plextor has just announced the PX-NAS4 4-bay network-attached storage system. It features dual LAN ports for a substantial bandwidth up to 2Gbps data acces to support the increasing data demands and needs of small and medium-sized businesses. It has four SATA hot-swap drive bays for up to 8TB data storage capacities.

The Plextor PX-NAS4 supports iSCSI and advanced volume encryption using an AES 256-bit algorithm. It offers multiple disk configurations: JBOD, RAID0, RAID1, RAID5 or RAID10, with a hot spare bay provided for immediate drive replacement if a drive fails (RAID 1 & 5 only). The PX-NAS4 also includes Snapshot Backup Utility, a method of backup that takes a picture of the current state of the NAS, to protect and safeguard precious data.
Coming at the end of November, the Plextor PX-NAS4 NAS is priced at $399.99.

Does this NAS have any access control features or a UI, or is it simply a hardware only NAS? We have recently been looking at NAS devices and have yet to settle on one that does everything we want.
