Danish company Libratone introduces its Beat high-end wireless speaker, which is designed as a modern piece of Scandinavian furniture. The elegant speaker features body of wood, high-end piano finish, cashmere/wool skin, and satin chrome handle. The Beat is available in four different colors. Slate Grey is the standard and it’s crafted in Italian wool. If you want an even more exclusive look, go for Blueberry Black, Vanilla Beige or Blood Orange, all three in the finest cashmere.
The Libratone Beat features FullRoom technology that reflects the sound off the room’s walls to provide high quality 360-degree sound. It comes with a wireless transmitter for Apple‘s iDevices and a USB transmitter for PC and Mac computer that offer up to 100 feet wireless range. The Beat offers 50W output and 2 x 25W from the midrange drivers and ribbon tweeters. The speaker also offer 3.5mm jack for connecting other audio sources.
Libratone Beat will be released in December 2010 with a price tag of GBP549 for slate grey model and GBP599 for cashmere colors.
