SanDisk, Nikon and Sony have joint developed a set of specifications that addresses the future requirements of professional photography and video markets, which is proposed to the nt of a set of specifications that addresses the future requirements of professional photography and video markets. The proposed next-gen memory card format can provide a data transfer rate of up to 500MB/s using the highly versatile PCI Express interface. The new specifications’ faster speeds enable continuous burst shooting of massive RAW images, and high-speed data transfer.
