Visioneer Strobe 500 Mobile Duplex Color Scanner

Visioneer’s Strobe 500 is a desktop/mobile duplex color scanner that comes with a docking station. It is desktop ADF scanner when attached to the docking station. Then with a push of button, the Strobe 500 ejects from its docking station to become a full function mobile scanner with USB-powered operation. The docking station offers an 20-page Automatic Document Feeder.

The Strobe 500 features 600dpi optical resolution and offers up to 15ppm speed at 200dpi. It offers 24-bit Color, 8-bit Grayscale, 1-bit Bitonal output bit depth. The scanner can produce searchable PDF files and integrates Kofax VRS image enhancement technology into the OneTouch scanning process.

The Visioneer Strobe 500 comes with Nuance PaperPort scan document management software and OmniPage Pro. It is priced at $399.99 or cheaper at Amazon.
