Along with the new EVO Shift 4G smartphone, Sprint brings also the new MiFi 4082 3G/4G Mobile Hotspot by Novatel Wireless. Designed for sharing 3G and 4G connection to WiFi devices, the new MiFi 3G/4G offers one-touch connectivity for up to five Wi-Fi enabled devices, including tablets, eReaders, laptops or gaming consoles. It supports Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS).
The intelligent 3G/4G mobile hotspot comes pre-loaded with MiFi OS with widgets and application support, adding capabilities beyond just Internet connectivity. It supports 3G EV-DO Rev. A and WiMAX 4G mobile networks and WiFi 802.11b/g/n wireless standard; and is equipped with GPS chipset. The device also includes a microSD card slot for up to a 32GB memory card. It is priced at $49.99 (excluding taxes) after a $50 mail-in rebate activation on a new two-year service agreement.
