Panasonic adds two new FH models, the LUMIX DMC-FH27 and DMC-FH25, to its 2010 LUMIX lineup. Both cameras sport 16.1 Megapixel sensor and a 28mm wide angle LEICA DC lens with 8x optical zoom. They have a new design with an easy-to-hold grip and slim and stylish profile. The FH27 comes with a 3-inch Smart Touch Screen for full touch-control operation while the FH25 has a 2.7-inch Intelligent LCD without touch control.
Panasonic’s DMC-FH27 and DMC-FH25 are equipped with Venus Engine VI image processor with Intelligent Resolution technology for shooting clear and crisp digital photos and videos; and include the Sonic Speed AutoFocus for users to easily capture spur-of-the-moment photos.
Other than the common Intelligent Auto functions we found on other LUMIX cameras, such as MEGA IOS, Intelligent ISO control, Face Detection, Intelligent Scene Selector; the FH27 and FH25 includes two new iA functions – AF (Auto Focus) Tracking that locks onto any subject and keeps it in focus even if it moves, and Intelligent Exposure that optimizes the exposure for each part of an image. They both come with LUMIX Image Uploader for sharing images via facebook and video via YouTube easily.
Encased in a brushed metal-finished panel, the LUMIX FH27 will be available in black, red and silver while the LUMIX FH25 will be available in silver, black, red, blue and violet models.
