Sony is going to release two new compact digital cameras, the Cyber-Shot DSC-WX10 and DSC-WX9, both with 1920×1080/60i Full HD video recording capability. They are equipped with 16.2 Megapixel Back-illuminated Exmor R CMOS Image Sensor and offers 3D still image capturing and 3D Sweep Panorama.
The WX10 features a 24mm wide angle 7x optical zoom Sony G lens and a 2.8-inch Clear Photo LCD Plus display while the WX9 gets a Carl Zeiss Vario-Tessar Lens with 25mm equivalent wide 5x Optical Zoom and a 3-inch XtraFine LCD display. Both cameras include Optical SteadyShot image stabilization, Backforund defocus, Backlight Correction HDR, Face Detection, Smile Shutter, Soft Skin mode, Superior Auto mode, Anti-blink Function and Motion Detection.
Both Cyber-shot cameras offer HDMI output and support for TransferJet wireless transfer technology. The Cyber-shot DSC-WX10 is available for $279.99 and the Cyber-shot DSC-WX9 for $219.99.
