LG unveiled at the CES 2011 the HW300T and the HX350T portable LED projecors with built-in ATSC tuner. With the ATSC tuner, the these projectors allows users to watch free HD broadcast signals. The HW300T also include DLNA support and Ethernet LAN port for access to online content.

Alongside the TS3, ZS10 and ZS8, Panasonic also introduces the ultra-compact LUMIX DMC-FX78 (aka LUMIX DMC-FX77 in some markets) digital camera. The camera features a large 3.5-inch Smart Touch LCD display allowing for intuitive touch operation, including Touch AF, Touch Zoom, Touch Shutter, and Touch Playback. It supports 1920x1080p Full HD video recording. in AVCHD format.

Panasonic has announced the new LUMIX DMC-TS3 (aka LUMIX DMC-FT3) rugged digital camera as the successor to the LUMIX DMC-TS2/FT2. As a rugged device, the TS2 is tougher than the TS2, and is waterproof to approximately 40 feet (12m); shockproof to approximately 6.6 feet (2m); freezeproof to 14ºF (-10 degrees C); and dustproof. It also comes with new outdoor-friendly features, such as a built-in GPS function, a compass, altimeter and barometer.

Panasonic has just announced its all-new LUMIX DMC-ZS10 (aka LUMIX DMC-TZ20), the latest addition to the ZS series ,featuring a powerful 16x optical zoom LEICA DC VARIO-ELMAR lens with 24mm wide angle. The compact camera, successor to the ZS7, also feature Full HD 1920×1080 video recording in AVCHD format and comes with built-in GPS for geotagging images to be pinpointed via online maps. It is capable of High-speed Consecutive Shooting at 10fps.

Samsung USA reveals a new entry-level Android smartphone, the Gem SCH-I100 for CMDA network. It is expected that the phone will be released soon by Verizon Wireless. The Gem is powered by a 800MHz processor and runs Android 2.1 Eclair OS with Samsung’s TouchWiz UI and Social Hub feature.

LG is launching its first portable Blu-ray player, the BP650 with Ethernet LAN for access to online content. The player does Blu-ray playback and DVD upscaling, and supports Dolby True HD. Though without WiFi, the BP650 has Ethernet LAN port and offers NetCast support for access to online services and content.

LG BD670

In addition to the flagship BD690 with 250GB hard drive, LG brings four other network Blu-ray players, the BD670, BD650, BD640 and BD630. They all support 1080p Full HD playback and DVD 1080p upscaling. The BD670 and BD650 can also handle 3D Blu-ray playback. These players are network-capable offer access to online content and services.

T-Mobile is going to release later this year the G-Slate by LG, a tablet device running Android 3.0 Honeycomb OS, like Motorola’s XOOM. The device will be 4G capable supporting T-Mobile’s HSPA+ network. It has a large screen (probably 7-inch) and will feature the latest Google Mobile innovations including Google Maps 5.0 with 3D interaction.

LG INFINIA PZ950

LG adds to is plasma line six new series, the INFINIA PZ950, INFINIA PZ750, PZ550, PW350, PV450 and PT350. All these plasma HDTVs feature LG’s 600Hz Sub-field Driving to ensure that all the action is delivered smoothly with virtually no motion blur. The PZ950, PZ750, PZ550 and PW350 also incorporate 3D capability, working with the use of active shutter glasses and an RF emitter built into the television; and include 2D-to-3D conversion.

LG introduces its new INFINIA NANO FULL LED series 3D HDTVs, including the LW9500 and LW7700 models, featuring NANO Lighting Technology to offer a clear, bright and smooth picture. These HDTVs feature improved localized dimming in both 2D and 3D with their Micro Pixel Control. According to LG, 55- and 60-inch models will pack in 288 local dimming blocks, while the 47-inch model has 240 local dimming blocks.
