T-Mobile revels more details of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S 4G Android smartphone, which is the carrier’s first smartphone supporting the HSPA+ 4G network with up to peak download speeds of up to 21 Mbps, offering enhanced mobile experiences and unparalleled entertainment including mobile HD TV through T-Mobile TV.
Like the original Galaxy S, the new 4G model is powered by the 1GHz Samsung Cortex A8 Hummingbird processor and runs Android 2.2. It features a 4-inch Super AMOLED touchscreen, a 5 Megapixel camera, an ST-Ericsson M5720 HSPA+ 4G modem, a pre-installed 16GB microSD memory card slot. The phone comes pre-loaded with doubleTwist with AirSync for auto-sync and backup. A 1650mAh li-ion battery is included.
T-Mobile has preloaded, at no additional cost to consumers, Warner Bros. Pictures’ ACADEMY AWARD Nominated film INCEPTION. The company will also include the T-Mobile TV application for consumers to access to live and on-demand mobile HD TV on T-Mobile’’s 4G network, including free programming from select stations like ABC News NOW, FOX Sports, PBS Kids and Azteca America.
