Along with the EOS 600D / Rebel T3i, Canon brings also the EOS 1100D / Rebel T3 / Kiss X50 entry-level digital SLR camera providing a more attractively priced option for those looking to experience the pleasure of shooting with a DSLR camera. Like the 600D, the 1100D also offers Feature Guide.
Canon’s 1100D / Rebel T3 packs a 12.2 Megapixel APS-C CMOS image sensor and DIGIC 4 image processor. It offers ISO 100-6400, 9-point AF system with a high precision, LiveView function, f/5.6 cross-type center point, 63-zone dual layer metering system and 3fps continuous shooting up to approximately 3 JPEGs or approximately 2 RAW. It records video in 720p resolution at 30fps. You can find a 2.7-inch LCD display and a SD/SDHC/SDXC memory card slot.
The Canon EOS 1100D / Rebel T3 will be available in March in a kit with Canon’s new EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 II zoom lens at $599.99 (pre-order at Amazon.com).
