Canon EOS 600D / Rebel T3i DSLR Camera

Canon announced the new EOS 600D / Rebel T3i / Kiss X5 entry-level digital SLR camera, which is the successor to the EOS Rebel T2i / 550D. Designed for beginning photographers, the 600D/T3i includes the new Feature Guide instruction that will walk Rebel T3i users through functions and provide recommendations for various settings, a great hands-on learning tool; and the Scene Intelligent Auto mode for point-and-shoot users.
The EOS 600D / Rebel T3i is equipped with 18 Megapixel APS-C CMOS image sensor, DIGIC 4 image processor and a Vari-angle 3-inch Clear View LCD display with anti-reflective and smudge-resistant coatings. It supports Full HD 1080p video recording at up to 30fps and 3.7 fps continuous shooting up to approximately 34 JPEGs or approximately 6 RAW. The T3i offers ISO up to 6400, LiveView mode, enhanced metering with a 63-zone, Dual-layer metering system for accurate metering between exposures, and 9-point AF system as well as Basic+ function, Multi-Aspect function and Creative Filters.
Canon’s new EOS 600D / Rebel T3i works with Canon EF and EF-S lenses. It supports SD/SDHC and SDXC memory cards. Coming in March, the EOS 600D will be sold in a body-only configuration at $799.99 (pre-order at Amazon). It will also be offered in a kit version with Canon’s new EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS II zoom lens at $899.99 (pre-order at Amazon), and in a second kit version with Canon EF-S 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS zoom lens at $1099.00.
