JBL, a brand owned by Harman International, introduces the new Studio 1 series loudspeakers. The new Studio 1 collection includes Studio 190 and Studio 180 floorstanding loudspeakers, the Studio 130 bookshelf loudspeaker, the Studio 120c center-channel loudspeaker and the Studio 150P subwoofer. All of them have a dynamic JBL Weave design.
The Studio 190 ($449) is a three-and-a-half-way dual floorstanding loudspeaker with dual woofers and midrange drivers featuring two 6 ½-inch- PolyPlas cones and CMMD Lite tweeter domes with proprietary Bi-Radial waveguides. The Studio 180 ($349) is a three-way floorstanding speaker with one 6 ½-inch PolyPlas cone.
The JBL Studio 130 ($299) is a 2-way bookshelf speaker with 4-inch low-frequency transducers and 1-inch high-frequency transducers. It is ideal for use as satellites in a Studio 1 Series home theater system, or on their own in compact-yet-captivating music-only systems.
The Studio 120c ($169) is a center-channel speaker with 4-inch low-frequency transducers and 1-inch high-frequency transducers. Lastly, the Studio 150P ($399) packs 10-inch PolyPlas low-frequency transducer and 300W RMS amplifier.
