Samsung expands its DualView range by introducing three new models, the ST700, PL170 and the PL120. In addition to the main screen on the back, all of them have a smaller secondary display on front so that users can do self-shooting easily.
The DualView ST700 is the flagship model featuring a 3-inch touchscreen with Smart Access UI and a 1.8-inch front LCD display. They PL170 has a 3-inch main display while the PL120 gets a 2.7-inch screen. Both models have a 1.5-inch front LCD screen. The ST700 and PL170 feature 16.1 Megapixel image sensor and optical and digital dual image stabilization, and the more affordable PL120 packs 14.1 Megapixel sensor and offers only digital image stabizer. All three cameras are equipped with a Samsung 5x zoom lens with 26mm wide angle.
Samsung’s ST700, PL170 and PL120 all include Smart Face Recognition, Smart Auto 2.0, Smart Filter 2.0, Face Detection and Tracking and ISO up to 3200. They can record 720p HD video, with ST700 and PL170 providing HDMI output.
Samsung will release these new DualView digital cameras in March. The ST700 costs $279.99, while the PL170 is priced at $199.99 and the PL120 at $149.99.
