Samsung WB700 Slim 18x Optical Zoom Camera

Samsung introduces an ultra slim digital camera with 24x zoom function, the WB700. The camera, successor to the WB600 and WB650 models, features a 24mm ultra-wide Schneider KREUZNACH lens with 18x optical zoom. With 1.3x Smart Zoom, the 16 Megapixel WB700 offers 24x zoom range. The long zoom camera offers full manual control as well.
The Samsung WB700 sports optical and digital dual image stabilization and provides Smart Auto, Smart Filter 2.0, Perfect Portrait System and built-in IntelliStudio for in-camera re-touch of captured images. It records 720p HD video and has HDMI output. Coming in April, the Samsung WB700 costs $299.99.

Noisy zoom is horrendous for video recording, shame.
Having raved about the quality of various Samsung products for a number of years, I wouldn’t buy another Samsung Camera…not very impressed with the quality of photo, despite having had a D-SLR I’d still expect a much better picture from a compact, stick with Canon and their range.
