Samsung Wave 578 Bada Smartphone with NFC

In addition to the flagship Android-based Galaxy S II, Samsung introduces the Wave 578 (S5780) Bada smartphone at the MWC 2011. The new Wave is equipped with “Near Field Communication (NFC) – a technology that allows users to enjoy many innovative services such as mobile payment at the shops and paying transportation fare, reading tags, getting mobile coupons, etc.”

The Samsung Wave 578 has a metallic body and soft rounded edges, making it easy and comfortable to hold. It features a 3.2-inch WQVGA touchscreen, a 3.2 Megapixel main camera, a VGA front camera for video call, a microSD card slot and USB port. The Wave 578 supports Bluetooth 3.0 and WiFi 802.11b/g/n. It runs Samsung’s Bada OS with TouchWiz OS.
