Sonim XP3300 Force Ultra-Rugged Mobile Phone with Longest Talk Time in the World

Sonim has just announced at the MWC 2011 the new XP3300 Force ultra-rugged MRM-ready mobile phone that provides the longest talk time in the world. The phone meets Sonim’s Rugged Performance Standards, surpassing the military specifications for ruggedness. The IP-68 rated, water and dust proof handset can survive in wastewater 2 meters deep, 2 meter drop onto concrete. It is also certified against salt, fog, humidity, transport shock, and thermal shock and operates in temperatures ranging from -20 degrees C to +55 degrees C. The phone has a 2-inch display protected by 1.5mm thick Corning Gorilla Glass lens for scratch and shock resistance.
The XP3300 Force features a 2 Megapixel camera with LED flash and professional-grade Assisted GPS support. It offers 20-24 hours of talk time and up to 26 hours of GPS tracking time with MRM application. The The MRM applications being integrated with the Sonim XP3300 FORCE offer workforce location monitoring, fleet tracking, monitoring, timecard reporting, real-time work order updates, alerts, job scheduling, event confirmation, data collection and reports. The X3300 Force supports quad-band GSM/GPES/EDGE networks.
