OWC Mercury Elite-AL Pro Qx2 Quad-Interface 4-Bay Storage Device

Other World Computing (OWC) launches the Elite-AL Pro Qx2, a quad-interface 4-bay professional grade RAID storage device. The Qx2 offers four 3.5-inch SATA hard drive bays with Hardware RAID setting flexibility up to 300MB/s data transfer speed. The device supports NRAID Span, RAID0/1/5/10 configurations.
It has two FireWire 800, one FireWire 400, one USB 2.0/1.1 and an eSATA connectors. However, the Elite-AL Pro Qx2 doesn’t have a Ethernet LAN port, meaning it is not a NAS. It has a brushed aluminum enclosure.
The price ranges from $299.99 with no hard drive included to $1279.99 with four 3TB hard drives. There are also enterprise class models with 5-year warranty with prices ranging from $729.99 (2TB) to $2219.99 (12TB).
