Samsung Series 9 Lightweight Notebooks Launched

Samsung launches in the US its Series 9 lightweight notebooks that are available in 11-inch and 13-inch screen sizes. The 13-inch model with Windows 7 Home Premium (NP900X3A) is now available while the 13-inch Windows 7 Professional model and 11-inch model will be released in mid-April. The lightweight Series 9 weighs just 1.31kg for 13-inch version and 1.05 for 11-inch model.
The 13-inch Series 9 notebook is powered by Intel Core i5 2537M 1.4Ghz processor, 4GB of RAM, integrated Intel HD graphics and 128GB SSD, while the 11-inch laptop packs Core i3 380um 1.33GHz CPU, 2GB of memory, Intel GMA HD graphics and 64GB SSD. They have 1366×768 LED-backlit display and supports WiFi 802.11b/g/n and optional WiMAX.
As for pricing, 13-inch/Windows 7 Home Premium model (NP900X3A-A03US) is priced at $1649 ($1599.99 at Amazon) and the 13-inch/Windows 7 Pro model (NP900X3A-A02US) costs $1699 ($1649 at Amazon).
