Samsung offically announced the Galaxy Tab 8.9 and Galaxy Tab 10.1 ultra slim Android tablets, expanding its Galaxy family. While the Tab 8.9 is introduced for the first time, Samsung re-introduced the Tab 10.1, brining a complete new design and slimmer body. Both tablets run Android 3.0 Honeycomb OS with the company’s TouchWiz UX/4.0 user interface. These new Tabs are the world’s thinnest mobile tablets, measuring just 8.6 millimeters, according to Samsung.

Sprint, Samsung and Google have partnered to bring the Nexus S 4G Android smartphone to the carrier’s WiMax 4G mobile network. This 4G version of Nexus S supports Sprint’s 4G WiMAX network, with peak download speeds of more than 10 Mbps; peak upload speeds of 1 Mbps; average download speeds of 3-6 Mbps, and CDMA EVDO Rev. A 3G network.

Along with the new EVO 3D 4G Android smartphone, Sprint will also bring the HTC EVO View 4G Android tablet to the US. The EVO View 4G is basically Sprint’s version of HTC Flyer, adding WiMAX 4G support. Powered by 1.5GHz SnapDragon processor, the EVO tablet has 1GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage. It runs Android OS.

Sprint has just announced the new HTC EVO 3D, America’s first 4G smartphone with a 4.3 inch 3D QHD display that allows you to view 3D without having to wear 3D glasses. The EVO 3D has a similar design like the original EVO 4G. It is powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core Qualcomm SnapDragon processor with 1GB of RAM and 4GB internal memory; and runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS with HTC Sense.

Buffalo launches in the UK three new external hard drives – the  glossy, piano-black MiniStation HD-PCU2, black glossy DriveStation HD-LBU2, and the DriveStation USB 3.0 HD-LBU3.
