Virgin Mobile USA, a brand under Sprint, launches the new Samsung Restore QWERTY messaging phone. The eco-friendly device has a casing that contains 27 percent post-consumer recycled plastics and 3 percent of the phone is recyclable. Designed for messaing and social networking, the Restore comesw ith a slide-out full QWERTY 4-row keyboard.
The Samsung Restore has a 1.4×1.9-inch 240×320 LCD display, a 2 Megapixel camera with video recording, Bluetooth connectivity and a microSD card slot. The phone includes shortcuts to social networking sites such as facebook, MySpace and Twitter and offers access to email services such as AOL, Gmail, Yahoo! and MSN/Windows Live Hotmail.
Samsung Restore is Virgin Mobile’s first green2 device and it is priced at $79.99 with no annual contract.
