NEC NP-V260 and NP-V260X Affordable Multimedia Projectors

NEC expands its V-series projector with two new multimedia models, the NP-V260 and NP-V260X joining the V300X. Based on DLP display technology, the new projectors are ideal for classrooms or small meeting rooms. They offer a lamp life of up to 5,000 hours and include 3D capability.

The V260 features SVGA 800X600 while the V260X offers XGA 1024X768 resolutions. They both feature 2600 lumens brightness, 2000:1 contrast ratio, BrilliantColor technology with advanced video processing to deliver vibrant and realistic colors, closed captioning, and built-in wall color correction presets. They also include Crestron Roomview to provide unified management.

The NP-V260 and NP-V260X  provides dual VGA, HDMI as well as RCA and S-video inputs. There are also built-in 7W speaker, RJ45 Ethernet LAN port and RS-232 control port. They will be released in June for $439 and $548, respectively.
