HTC Trophy heading to Verizon Wireless

Verizon Wireless is going to launch its first Windows Phone 7 device, the HTC Trophy. Powered by 1GHz SnapDragon processor, the Trophy has 16GB onboard storage. The phone has a 3.8-inch touchscreen, a 5 Megapixel auto focus camera with LED flash and 720p HD video recording and WiFi 802.11b/g/n connectivity. It includes SRS WOW HD audio.

The HTC Trophy is global ready, allowing customers to enjoy wireless voice and data service in more than 200 countries, with more than 125 with 3G speeds. Verizon will release the Trophy on 26 May for $149.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate with a new two-year customer agreement. Customers who buy an HTC Trophy before July 15 get a free Xbox 360 console game.

    I have a Verizon Wireless cell phone and so does my friend. I recall there being something like unlimited minutes between 2 Verizon phones. Does that work if they’re not on my network?
