Huawei is launching its new MediaPad tablet, which is the first 7-inch Android 3 Honeycomb tablet device. Powered by a dual-core Qualcomm 1.2GHz processor, the MediaPad runs Android 3.2 Honeycomb OS, which is the same as version 3.1 but optimized for 7-inch tablets. It comes with a 1280×800 IPS capacitive touchscreen with 217 pixel per inch.

The Huawei MediaPad sports a 5 Megapixel camera, a 1.3 Megapixel front camera for video chat, and 8GB internal storage. The device supports Bluetooth, GPS, WiFi 802.11b/g/n as well as HSPA+ 14.4Mbps connectivity. It supports Full HD 1080p video playback and offers HDMI output. There are also built-in microphone, USB connector and a microSD/SDHC card slot for expansion.
