
Dell announced the new Inspiron 13z and Inspiron 14z slim yet powerful notebook PCs. Both of them are powered by 2nd gen Intel Core i3/i5 processor with up to 8GB of RAM and 320GB/500GB hard drive or 128GB SSD. They are ideal for school papers, company reports, mobile entertainment, keeping in touch with friends and pursuing your passions.

The Inspiron 13z and 14z come with built-in SRS Premium Sound HD, HD webcam, multi-in-one card reader, USB 3.0 connectors as well as Bluetooth 3.0 and WiFi connectivity. The 13z and 14z are available in standard Diamond Black or optional Fire Red LCD back and matching palmrest, full-size chiclet-style keyboard and HD webcam. The former has a 13.3-inch 1366×768 display while the latter has a 14-inch 1366×768 LCD screen.

I just received my inspiron 14z today and I am liking it alot. There have been alot of comments on the Dell site saying that the touchpad does not work well but I have not encountered that. Mine works perfectly fine and the left/right buttons work just fine too. I will agree with the people who said what Dell calls black is not black, it is more like a chocolate black or brown color…..either way, I love the color!! Glad I made the purchase.
