Verizon Wireless launched the LG Englighten mid-range, affordable Android smartphone. The new phone comes with a 3.2-inch 320×480 touchscreen, a sliding full QWERTY keyboard with large keys for easy typing, and a 3.2 Megapixel with auto focus and video recording. The Enlighten is powered by a 800MHz processor and runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS with support for Adobe Flash 10.
The LG Enlighten supports Bluetooth and WiFi and inlcudes 3G Mobile Hotspot functionality for sharing 3G data connection with up to five devices. The Android device supports microSD memory card. LG Enlighten is available from Amazon for $79.99 after a $50 mail in rebate with a new two-year customer agreement.
