D-Link introduces the new Cloud Camera 5000 (model DCS-5222L), an internet-connected surveillance solution for home or small office with pan/tilt capabilities. With built-in wireless connectivity, the IP camera can be placed almost anywhere. It supports WiFi 802.11n and has WPS button for easy and quick setup. Users can remotely access live video feeds on any desktop via the mydlink.com, and remotely adjust and control the camera’s view to see up to 340 degrees – 170 degrees on each side.
The Cloud Camera 5000 delivers 720p HD video at 30fps. It has a microSD slot for local recording and uses H.264 compression. The camera offers automatic Day/Night vision with IR LEDs, and enhance motion detection with built-in PIR sensor as well as two-way audio with built-in microphone and audio output.
In addition, the compact camera offers enhanced security options with e-mail alerts for intrusions or disturbances and the ability to integrate external devices to trigger recording, including doorbells, alarms, lighting, and motion sensors. D-Link will release the Cloud Camera 5000 (model DCS-5222L) in April.
