If the 20x/15x FinePix F770EXR/F750EXR/F660EXR long zoom cameras are just too much for you, consider the other two new offerings from FujiFilm, the FinePix JZ250(aka JZ260) and the FinePix JZ100 (aka JZ110), both equipped with a Fujinon 8x optical zoom lens with 25mm wide angle. They both feature optical image stabilization to improve image quality and ISO up to 3200.
The JZ250 is a 16 Megapixel camera with 3-inch LCD screen and the JZ100 packs a 14 Megapixel sensor and a 2.7-inch LCD display. They support 720p HD video recording at 30fps. Both compact cameras include the Scene Recognition (SR) Auto mode that automatically assesses the scene and selects the optimal settings to capture the scene, Face Detection, Smile/Blink detection, Tracking Auto Focus.
The FujiFilm FinePix JZ250 and JZ100 will be available in black, in March for $149.95 and $129.95, respectively.FujiFilm will release other color options, such as silver, pink, red, blue, purple, in some markets.
