FujiFilm is launching three new rugged digital cameras, the FinePix XP150, XP100 and XP50 for active users to take photos in the most demanding shooting conditions. These cameras provid Four-Way Protection. The XP150 and XP100 are Waterproof to 33ft (10M) and Shockproof to 6.5 ft (2M) while the XP50 is Waterproof to 16.5ft (5M) and Shockproof to 5 ft (1.5M). All three models are Freezeproof to 14°F (-10°C) and Dustproof.
FujiFilm’s new FinePix XP-series cameras are equipped with 14 Megapixel CMOS sensor, a Fujinon 5x optical zoom lens with a reinforced hardened glass lens barrier and water repellent coating, and a 2.7-inch anti-reflective LCD display that has been brightened for clear viewing even in direct sunlight. With ergonomical design, these cameras are housed in a metal uni-body chassis for durabilty and feature a double locking door that keeps the cameras watertight and seals and protects the battery and memory card slots, along with the USB and micro-HD ports. The XP150 sports built-in GPS with electronic compass and tracking for geotagging and photo navigation.
The XP150, XP100 and XP50 includes sensor-shift Dual Image Stabilization system that combines a mechanically stabilized sensor with high ISO to combat camera/hand shake and subject movement for improved low light shooting. Other features include 360 Motion Panorama Mode, Face Detection, Scene Recognition Auto (SR AUTO), Movie Editing Mode, Blog Mode and Tracking Auto Focus (AF). They can record 10800p Full HD video at 30fps.
The FinePix XP150 will be available in March 2012 for $279.95 in black and orange colors (blue, orange, silver and green color options will be available in other markets). The FinePix XP100 and FinePix XP50, both come in black, blue, orange, silver and green, will be released in March for $249.95 and $199.95.
