The K1 USB is a slim USB 3.0-based SSD flash drive measuring just 4.5mm tick. Available in capacities from 60GB to 240GB, the K1 USB is based on 2x nm MLC flash and offers up to 400 MB/s sequential performance. The K1 SATA, on the other hand, is available in up to 400GB capacity and is based on eMLC flash. It provides up to 540MB/s read and 520MB/s write speeds and up to 60K random read and random write IOPS performance. The SATA model includes self-encrypting drive for data security and the VoltStream technology that monitors power quality and provides a safe power-fail mechanism using solid-state ceramic capacitors.

The Kage K1 USB starts at $230 and the Kage K1 SATA at $975.
