Klipsch introduces three new AirPlay-enabled speaker systems, the RoomGroove Air, Stadium and Console. All three solutions support wireless network and AirPlay protocol for wireless streaming of high-quality audio from iPhone, iPod touch and iPad as well as from iTunes running a Mac or PC.
The RoomGroove Air features dual 1-inch tweeters with Round Tractrix horns and 2.5-inch woofers, housed in a tuned port enclosure, to deliver “sonic clarity and unrivalled bass output”. The Stadium is a 2.1-channel tabletop sound system with dual 1-inch, horn-loaded tweeters, 3-inch midrange woofers and dual 5.25-inch subwoofer. It is housed in brushed aluminum cabinetry with soft-touch accents.
Finally, the Console is not just a multifunctional 2.1 audio system but a furniture centerpiece boasting cutting edge design and engineering. It sports dual 90° x 60° Tractrix Horns with 1.75-inch titanium dome, high-compression drivers featuring Linear Travel Suspension (LTS), 10-inch machine-spun Cerametallic woofers with folded cones and huge motor structures, and 12-inch non-resonant, woven fiberglass subwoofer drivers with large, four-layer, aluminum-wound voice coils.
All three speakers system, in addition to AirPlay support, has USB port for direct connection with audio players, which is also capable of charging iPhone/iPod/iPad. The Console also has HDMI and optical connectors.
