Olympus VG-160 Budget-friendly Digital Camera

Olympus will release in February the new VG-160 digital camera designed to “deliver point-and-shoot simplicity and quality at a low price”. The 14 Megapixel shooter features a 5x optical zoom lens with 26mm wide angle and a slim body measuring just 19.3mm thick. It includes AF Tracking, Shadow Adjustment Technology and Face Detection functions as well as the Intelligent Auto (iAuto) mode that automatically recognizes shooting conditions that match any of 29 built-in scene modes.
The Olympus VG-160 has built-in Digital Image Stabilization to ensure clear and blur-free images. It comes with Magic Art Filters, including Pop Art, Pin Hole, Drawing, Fish Eye, Soft Focus and the newly added Punk, Watercolor, Sparkle, for adding special effects to your photos. The compact digicam supports 720p HD video recording and has an one-touch HD video button, and comes with a 3-inch LCD screen.
Olympus’ VG-160 will be available in silver, black, red and orange for just $99.99. It ships with a camera strap.
