Other than smartphones, Huawei also revealed at the MWC 2012 the MediaPad 10 FHD, the world’s first 10-inch quad-core tablet. The new tablet is boosted by a Huawei K3 1.5GHz quad-core processor with embedded GPU, offering fast processing power, 3D graphics and the capability to drive its 10-inch 1920×1080 Full HD IPS LCD touchscreen.
The MediaPad 10 FHD sports a 8 Megapixel camera with auto focus and LED flash, and a 1.3 Megapixel front camera. The quad-core tablet supports WiFi, Bluetooth as well as HSPA+ 21/42/84Mbps and LTE mobile networks. The new MediaPad has a aluminum-alloy unibody design and measures just 8.8mm thick It will be shipped with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.
Huawei is planning to release the MediaPad 10 FHD in Q2.
