Commodore USA recreates the legendary Commodore 64, introducing the new C64x keyboard PC with a design so close to the original one. The new C64x uses mini-IXT PC motherboard and is powered by Intel Atom D2700 2.13GHz dual-core processor, NVIDIA GeForce GT520 with 512MB RAM and 4GB of DDR3 memory.
The C64x keyboard PC is equipped with a slot-load Blu-ray drive and can house up to 3TB SATA hard drive or 600GB Intel 320 SSD. It supports Gigabit Ethernet, Bluetooth 3.0 and WIFi 802.11b/g/n connectivity and comes with a multi-in-one card reader.
The Commodore C64x is pre-loaded with Commodore OS Vision, the company’s custom Linux distribution, which will allow you to play all your favorite 8-bit era Commodore games with a single click. The above configuration is called C64x Supreme that costs $1295, and Commodore also release the C64x Barebone for $345.
