NEC introduces the new X463UN, a 46-inch professional-grade ultra-narrow large-screen display designed for the 24/7 operation required in a variety of digital signage, corporate and broadcast video wall applications. The 46-inch display uses professional-grade LCD panel with advanced thermal protection and sealed panel design for the most formidable digital signage industry requirements, and direct LED backlighting source which allows even distribution of light across the panel, resulting in improved uniformity from bezel-to-bezel.
The NEC X463UN features Full HD 1080p resolution, 3500:1 typical contrast ratio, 500cd/m2 brightness, 178/178-degree viewing angle and 8ms GTG response time. It supports TileMatrix technology for video walls up to 100 display and has a 5.7mm distance between active screen areas of two neighboring displays. The professional display has built-in expansion slot and supports Intel Open Pluggable Specification (OPS), which is the first industry-wide standardization in option slots to simplify digital signage, allowing for easier installation, use and maintenance of digital signage,
The X463UN provides HDMI, DVI-D in/out and DisplayPort in/out as well as VGA D-sub, BNC composite, S-video connectors, and RS232C or LAN for network control and communication. Coming in March, the professional video wall display is priced at $5149.
