AAXA Technologies introduces the P4 WiFi that, as its name tells, is WiFi-enabled version of the P4 pico projector. Compare to 80 lumens of the original P4, the new WiFi model also offers a higher brightness of 100 lumens, using triple LEDs light engine enhanced with Osram Converter Green technology. The P4 WiFi features 1280×768 resolution and 2000:1 contrast ratio.
The pico projector runs Windows CE 6.0 and comes with built-in media player capable of 720p HD video playback. With WiFi connectivity, users can access online content and browse the web using the included wireless keyboard and mouse combo. Other than 2GB onboard memory, the pocket projector also has microSD card slot and USB port for viewing files from USB storage device. The pre-loaded Softmaker Office suite also allows users to view and edit Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Adobe PDF files, making PC-free presentation possible. It also supports playback MP3, WMA, OGG, WAV, MP4, AVI, WMV media files as well as BMP, JPG, GIF images, which means you can use it as a standalone media player/projector.
The AAXA P4 WiFi accepts VGA and A/V inputs and is equipped with 1w speaker. The rechargeable Li-ion battery offers 75 minutes of continuous use. The price is $399.
