Dell introduces a new high-performance all-in-one PC in its premium XPS line. Called XPS One 27, it is Dell’s largest all-in-one ever. As its name tells, the all-in-one comes with a 27-inch display with a Full Quad HD 2560×1440 resolution and WLED backlit, which will be great for you to enjoy movies and and photos and play games. It is powered by Intel’s 3rd gen Ivy Bridge Core processor, either Core i5-3450s or Core i7-3770s, and comes standard with integrated Intel HD 4000 graphics. Of course, you can add the optional NVIDIA GeForce GT640M graphics with 2GB video memory for enhanced performance.
The XPS One 27 also comes standard with 4GB DDR3 RAM, and 1TB hard drive, with options to get up to 16GB of RAM and 2TB hard drive, and optional 32GB mSATA SSD with with Intel Smart Response Technology to speed up boot time and data transfer. If you want to play Blu-ray Discs, you have the option the replace the slot-loading DVD burner with a Blu-ray combo drive. TV tuner can also be added for you to enjoy TV on the big screen. The computer is also equipped with Waves MaxxAudio 4 and built-in Infinity-branded speakers to deliver high quality sound. There is also a 8-in-1 card reader.
Dell’s 27-inch all-in-one supports Bluetooth 4.0 and WiFi, and includes Gigabit Ethernet LAN port, HDMI output, HDMI input, SPDIF (7.1ch), IR Blaster, RF Receiver as well as four USB 3.0 ports and two USB 2.0 ports with power charge. It has a slim, space-saving design with metallic silver color housing and comes with wireless keyboard and mouse. Coming in coming weeks, the XPS One 27 starts at $1399.
