SteelSeries introduces the Sensei MLG Edition Gaming Mouse, which is the official licensed mouse for Major League Gaming. According to the SteelSeries, the mouse combines the best-in-class hardware with the color design and surface that was chosen in cooperation with the MLG community – based on interviewing visitors at the MLG Winter Championship in Columbus.
The Sensei MLG Edition mouse is equipped with a 32-bit ARM processor precision and speed calculations and a premium laser sensor with hardware-based sensitivity settings from 1 to 8,200 CPI. The sensor offers 10.8-megapixel image correlations at up to 12,000fps and is able to track movement up to 150-inch per second. Using the Double CPI features, users can ‘overclock’ the mouse to have 16,400 DCPI. SteelSeries’ ExactTech allows complete customization through 4 technology features, including ExactLift, ExactAim, ExactAccel and ExactSens. These settings can be calculated directly on the mouse thanks to the 32-bit ARM processor.
As a gaming mouse designed for tournament, the MLG Edition Sensei comes with a integrated LCD display and menu that allows gamers to easily set, store and configure profiles and settings directly on the mouse. Of course, users can show team logo and name on the LCD. The mouse has a non-slip grip and dark metal coating and 8 ergonomically placed buttons comfortably reachable for the 3 grip styles – palm, claw and swipe. There are three areas of illumination – at the wheel, at the CPI indicator and at the MLG logo, in 16.8 million color options including an OFF setting.
The Sensei MLG gaming mouse works on PC and Mac and can be further modified through the SteelSeries Engine software. It will be released in August for $99.99 and will be available for pre-order on 8-10 June at the MLG Spring Championship in Anaheim, CA.
