Along with the Android-powered Walkman F800 media player, Sony also brings the Walkman S770BT, E570 and E470. Though look almost identical, each of the three models come with unique features and get different headphones. They all have a compact and stylish design and feature a 2-inch QVGA LCD display. The S770BT comes with Bluetooth connectivity.
The S770BT, E570 and E470 Walkman players support MP3, WMA, AAC-LC, Linear PCM audio files and MPEG-4, AVC (H.264) and WMV9 video formats, and is available with 8GB internal storage. With Bluetooth support, the S770BT comes with MDR-NWBT10 Bluetooth headphones for users to enjoy music wirelessly. It also gets Sony’s MDR-EX083E in-ear headphones.
The E570 comes with built-in digital noise cancelling technology the MDR-NC033E noise-cancelling headphones which, according to Sony, combined to reduce background sound levels by 98%, delivering clear and clean sound. The E470 series features the Karaoke mode and synchronised lyrics display, as well as two pre-installed Puyo Pop Fever and NUMBER PLACE. The former, available in 8GB and 16GB, comes in blue white and black, and the latter, with 4GB or8GB capacity, will be available in six vibrant colors, red, champagne, green, blue, pink and black. Sony will also release the Walkman E473K that comes with a portable speaker dock.
Sony will release in the US the 4G and 8GB E470 for $79.99 and $89.99, respectively.
