Nikon introduces a new compact long zoom digital camera, the Coolpix L610. While its brother L810 gets 26x optical zoom, the L610 sports a 14x optical zoom NIKKOR ED glass lens with 25mm wide angle. The 16.1 Megapixel shooter uses Backside Illuminated CMOS sensor and features optical VR image stabilization to produce blur-free and clear images, and up to 3200 ISO sensitivity.
The L610 features the Easy Auto mode that automatically selects from six Scene Modes, including Portrait, Landscape, Night Portrait, Night landscape, Close-up and Backlighting, to deliver best quality image. The camera records Full HD 1920x1080p video at 30fps in MPEG4 AVC H.264 format, and offers a HDMI mini output for showing your images and videos on a big screen HDTV. It uses two AA batteries for power, so you don’t have to worry about low battery.
Coming in September, the CoolPix L610 will be available for $249.95. It comes in black, silver and red colors.
