Japanese consumer electronics maker Onkyo introduces the NetStick NT-A1, a HDMI stick with Android that turns your HDTV into a Smart TV. Running Android 2.3 Gingerbread, the NetStick allows users to play games, browse the web and watch movies easily on their HDTV. The stick is powered by a ARM Cortex A9 1GHz processor and 512MB of RAM.
The NT-A1 supports WiFi 802.11b/g/n wireless connectivity and comes with Google Play for downloading apps and games. Other than 4GB internal storage, the NetStick also supports microSD/SDHC up to 32GB. There is also a USB 2.0 ports for connecting accessories, such as Onkyo’s KR-A1 dual-mode wireless remote/keyboard.
The Onkyo NetStick NT-A1 Android stick is priced at 9980 Yen. A remote control is included.
