Looks like Full HD is not enough now and TV makers are now bringing 4K TVs. Here comes Sony’s BRAVIA XBR-84X900, a huge 84-inch 4K TV. Intended to deliver great viewing experience, the 84-inch TV is equipped with 4K X-Reality PRO picture engine with advanced upscaling technology to ensure that every frame looks clear and crisp, with a 4K resolution regardless of the content source.
The 4K X-Reality PRO’s super-resolution processing power also enables high quality 3D viewing. The XBR-84X900 can upscales Blu-ray 3D Full-HD resolution 3D images to 4K (3840 x 2160) images and displays them on the polarizing sheet on the screen in 3840 pixels x 1080 pixels for the left and right eyes, respectively; then users can use the included 3D glasses to enjoy 3D videos on a large screen just like in a movie theater. The TV includes Motionflow, Dynamic Edge LED with local dimming as well.
To offer a full cinema-like experience with rich sound, Sony’s 84X900 comes equipped with a 10 Unit Live Speaker system which is optimized for large-sized screen, and features Clear Phase technology for reproduction of natural sound and S-Force Front Surround 3D technology to deliver virtual 5.1 surround sound.
