Kensington introduces two new USB 3.0 SuperSpeed docking stations, the Office Dock sd3500v and the Home Dock sd3000v, both powered by DisplayLink’s USB 3.0 graphics chips that integrate graphics, Gigabit Ethernet and audio. Both docks feature hot plug functionality for audio and video, automatically detecting and routing sound and graphics to the peripherals as they are connected to the dock.
The Office Dock powered by DisplayLink’s DL-3900 chip, features dual-head video support with HDMI and DVI/VGA output and support for 5.1-channel audio via HDMI. The Home Dock, intended to expand home desktop with a USB 3.0 connection, offers a DVI/VGA connector and audio jack. Both docking stations have Gigabit Ethernet LAN and USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 ports.
The Office Dock sd3500v and Home Dock sd3000v are priced at $199.99 and $169.99, respectively.
