For Mac Pro users looking to upgrade the display card, here comes a new choice from NVIDIA, the Quadro K5000 gragphics card. Designed for Mac Pro system, the K5000 is based on NVIDIA’s Kepler architecture, and is ideal for professional applications such as video editing, color correction, compositing, design visualization and GPU-accelerated ray-traced 3D rendering.
The Quadro K5000 supports Cinema 4K 4096×2160 resolution, OpenGL, OpenCL and NVIDIA CUDA, and is cable to drive up to four displays simultaneously. It comes with 4GB graphics memory to provide faster interactivity when using design and content creation applications. Up to two K5000 cards can be installed in a single Mac Pro.
The NVIDIA Quadro K5000 will be released later this year for $2249.
