Eye-Fi releases its new 16GB Pro X2 wireless SDHC memory card. The new card features Class 10 speeds and can store up to 8000 photos of 6 hours of video. Like other Eye-Fi cards, the Pro X2 comes with built-in WiFi 802.11n connectivity that allows you to send photos and videos wirelessly and instanly to computer, smartphone or tablets via WiFi or an ad-hoc connection. You may also share photos directly to Facebook, Picasa, YouTube.
The 16GB Pro X2 can also upload RAW files and geotag photos with location data. While the card works with most SDHC compatible cameras, Eye-Fi has announced that it is not compatible with Nikon’s D800 and D800E DSLR cameras.
