T-Mobile is going to release this fall the LG Optimus L9 slim, stylish smartphone. Like other L-series smartphones, L3, L5, L7, the L9 has a modern square style and a slim look measuring just 0.36-inch. The new Optimus runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich on a 1GHz dual-core processor. While originally announced with 4.7-inch IPS touchscreen, T-Mobile’s variant gets a 4.5-inch touchscreen protected by Gorilla Glass 2.
Running Android 4.0, the Optimus L9 features QuickMemo note-taking function that allows users to add commentary, notes and drawings to screenshots with a few swipes of a finger, then share them easily. The phone has a 5 Megapixel camera with LED flash, Full HD 1080p video recording. Cheese Shot mode and custoomizable scene mode; and a front-facin camera. Other than Bluetooth 3.0 and WiFi 802.11b/g/n, the L9 also supports DLNA for wireless media sharing.
The LG Optimus L9 supports T-Mobile’s 4G network and will be released later this year.
