The company is entering the smartphone market and will launch three smartphones in coming months, as reported by Hi-Tech@Mail.ru. It looks like Archos is borrowing design ideas from Samsung’s Galaxy line.
Firsr of all, the 48 Platinum is the flagship model with a 4.9-inch 1280×800 IPS touchscreen display. While it looks just like Samsung’s Galaxy S III, it is powered by a less poweful MediaTek MT6589 1.7Ghz quad-core processor. It runs Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. The handset is affordable at Euro 249.
The Archos 52 Titanium is a bigger device with a design similar to Galaxy Note II. It has a large 5.2-inch 480×800 display
