Pelican launches the ProGear Vault and ProGear Protector cases designed to provide rugged protection for Apple’s iPhone 5. The former is made with engineering-grade aluminum and polymer materials and features a full-enclosure design for enhanced protection, while the Protector has two levels of protection to defend the iPhone 5 from daily drops and typical wear and tear.
The ProGear Vault (CE1180) is a tough yet slim and lightweight case made with engineering-grade aluminum. With a full enclosure design, the case protects your phone against wind-driven snow, rain and dust as well as elastomeric shock and impact protection from a height of 72 inches. The function buttons are made with aircraft-grade aluminum for precise control and there are water-resistant membrane covers to protect the microphone and speakers. It also includes a durable, anti-scratch screen cover and Dragontrail glass on both camera areas.
The ProGear Protector, on the other hand, features an engineering grade polymer shock-deflecting outer shell with a tough chamfer design for impact protection, and soft, elastomeric Copolymer rubber interior to absorb shocks and impact. The case wraps over screen edges and protects all sides of the iPhone 5 from drops. The smooth finish of the outer shell makes the case slides easily into pockets and bags.
The ProGear Vault and ProGear Protector are priced at $79.99 and $39.99, respectively. The former comes in dark grey/red, white, green, purple, blue colors and the latter in black, white, teal, red and grey/orange.
