Last year, LG introduces the world’s first 21:9 display, the EA93, which is then followed by Dell’s UltraSharp U2913WM. AOC is joining the game, introducing the Q2963PM 21:9 ultra-wide display. Like LG and Dell’s offerings, the Q2963PM gas a 29-inch screen with 2560×1080 resolution. It uses AH-IPS LCD panel and provides 178/178-degree wide viewing angles.
AOC’s 21:9 display features 50,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, 1000:1 typical contrast, 250cd/m2 brightness and 5ms response time. It features Picture in Picture (PIP) and Picture by Picture (PBP) functions, and is capable of deviding the screen into four sections, making multitasking possible. The ultra widescreen display provides HDMI, DVI-D and D-sub inputs and supports MHL for connecting Android phone and tablets. You can daisy-chain up to three Q2963PM displays.
The AOC Q2963PM is available at Amazon for $499.
