Along with the Galaxy Win and Galaxy Infinite, Samsung is also bringing to the China market the Galaxy Trend II SCH-I739 CDMA smartphone. The handset has an iconic Galaxy design and will be available in golden brown and metallic silver colors. While it supports both CDMA and GSM networks, the phone doesn’t supports dual-mode that GSM can be used only for roaming, unlike the dual-mode Galaxy Infinite.
Samsung’s Trend II is boosted by a 1.2GHz quad-core CPU and runs Android 4.1. Same as its brother Galaxy Infinite (SCH-I759), the phone comes with a 4-inch touchscreen with 800×480 resolution and a 3 Megapixel camera with 720×480 video recording. It supports Bluetooth 3.0 and WiFi 802.11b/g/n. China Telecom will release the Trend II soon.
The Korea phone maker will also release in China the Galaxy Trend II Duos (GT-S7572) with Dual-SIM/Dual-Standby capabilities, supporting HSDPA 3G network on one SIM slot and GSM network on the other, instead of dual-mode CDMA+GSM.
